PROJECT OVERVIEW
Wakely Associates partnered with Lake Shore Public Schools to deliver a comprehensive district-wide modernization program that revitalized educational facilities while improving the safety, functionality, and long-term performance of schools throughout the district. Guided by a commitment to creating engaging, student-centered learning environments, the program addressed both instructional spaces and critical building systems to ensure facilities are equipped to support today's educational needs and future opportunities.
The scope of work included interior renovations, media center enhancements, classroom improvements, athletic facility upgrades, roofing replacements, secure entry improvements, and comprehensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology infrastructure upgrades across multiple district facilities. Each improvement was carefully planned to enhance the daily experience for students, educators, and staff by creating flexible learning environments that encourage collaboration, creativity, and academic success. Modernized building systems and upgraded technology infrastructure improve operational efficiency and reliability, while enhanced security measures and athletic improvements provide safe, welcoming spaces that support both education and extracurricular activities.
