PROJECT OVERVIEW
Wakely Associates partnered with Farmington Public Schools to deliver a comprehensive district-wide modernization program focused on creating innovative, secure, and future-ready learning environments. Designed to support the district’s commitment to educational excellence, the program balanced facility improvements with long-term infrastructure investments, ensuring that each project enhanced the functionality, performance, and longevity of school buildings while meeting the evolving needs of students, educators, and the community.
The scope of work included classroom renovations, the creation and modernization of STEAM laboratories, media center enhancements, athletic facility improvements, roofing replacements, secure entry upgrades, and comprehensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology infrastructure improvements across multiple district facilities. These enhancements were carefully coordinated to provide flexible instructional spaces that encourage collaboration, creativity, and hands-on learning while improving campus safety, building efficiency, and day-to-day operations. Modernized building systems and technology infrastructure further support innovative teaching methods and position the district to adapt to future educational advancements.
Through strategic planning and thoughtful design, the Farmington Public Schools improvement program has transformed district facilities into dynamic educational environments that inspire learning and strengthen community engagement. By investing in modern classrooms, specialized STEAM spaces, upgraded building systems, and enhanced campus security, the district has created resilient, high-performing schools that provide students with the resources and environments they need to succeed today and well into the future.
