PROJECT OVERVIEW
Wakely Associates partnered with Brandon School District to implement a comprehensive series of facility improvements funded through the district’s 2020 and 2021 bond programs. This multi-year investment was focused on modernizing educational environments, enhancing campus safety, and improving the functionality and longevity of district facilities. Through careful planning and phased implementation, the projects were designed to maximize the value of the district’s bond investment while minimizing disruptions to daily school operations.
The scope of work included classroom renovations, media center modernization, athletic facility improvements, roofing replacements, secure entry enhancements, furniture replacement, and coordinated infrastructure upgrades across the district. Each improvement was thoughtfully designed to create flexible, student-centered learning environments while strengthening the overall performance, safety, and efficiency of the district’s facilities. Modernized classrooms and media centers support evolving teaching methods and technology integration, while upgraded athletic spaces, secure building entrances, and critical infrastructure improvements enhance the educational experience for students, staff, and the community.
By transforming both instructional and support spaces, the Brandon School District bond program reflects a long-term commitment to educational excellence and responsible stewardship of public investment. The completed improvements have created modern, welcoming, and resilient facilities that support student achievement, foster collaboration, and provide safe, inspiring environments where future generations can learn, grow, and succeed.
